We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern on 1st shift who will
assist the engineering team with production projects and continuous
improvement initiatives. The position provides hands-on engineering
experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. This is an open
ended internship with flexible hours working around individuals schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Implements, modifies, and documents assembly processes,
Assists with improving the quality and efficiency of manufacturing
processes , Provides support to engineering staff and management as needed,
Assists in the design and implementation of tooling and fixtures, within
manufacturing, Analyzes cell measures and performs time studies to help
improve, manufacturing processes, Supports purchasing, quality, test, and
production as needed, Assists production as needed to ensure deliveries are
met.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: Currently enrolled in a college
engineering program, preferred Junior class standing. Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office, Autocad, Solidworks
