Responsibilities could range anywhere from circuit card assembly, manual assembly, harness assembly, or wire prep. Tasks for this position could include inspecting assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications required by company work instructions. We are seeking individuals experienced to IPC-A-610, the standard for electronic soldering. Digital dexterity will be required to perform essential functions of the position. Considerable candidates will test above average in coordination and dexterity skills. Candidates must display the willingness to be trained into one of the electronic assembly positions.

We are seeking an individual to fill our Quality Systems Manager opening. This person will act as the Management Representative for Borisch's quality management system and will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring and continually improving the system to meet company objectives, while exceeding customer expectations and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Supporting responsibilities include liaising with external parties on matters relating to the quality management system, monitoring and improving key performance metrics, planning and conducting effective internal quality audits, managing the corrective action system to assure timely and effective resolution, coordinating quality data collection for the purpose of identifying continuous improvement projects/activities, and providing quality systems training to company employees.
The ideal candidate will have:
-A minimum of 7 years experience in quality systems within a lean manufacturing environment (2 of the 7 years in a lead position).
-Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 (or TS16949) quality systems.
-Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management.
-Strong leadership, interpersonal and team building skills (must promote a team environment).
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-A minimum of two years experience as a lead auditor.
-Effective instructor/trainer skills (planning and execution).
-Demonstrated knowledge of 8D or 7S problem solving methodologies, Root Cause analysis tools, MSA, SPC, Six Sigma, and lean/kaizen concepts.
-Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite software and FilePro.
-Familiarity with risk management tools (i.e. PFlow/PFMEA/Control Plans), value-stream mapping and self-directed teams.
